1 Scope
This standard specifies the test device, sample preparation, test procedure and performance evaluation for the method for testing antifouling panels in shallow submergence.
It is applicable to the evaluation on performance of antifouling paints in shallow submergence for ships and offshore engineering structure.

antifouling panels in shallow submergence
a test method of evaluating the performance of antifouling paints by immersing the panel coated with antifouling paint in shallow submergence, and then observing the attached type, amount and production degree of marine fouling organism on the panel regularly for comparison with the blank panel
