Introduction
GB/T5568-2022/ISO6803:2017 Standard Interpretation
1. Background and Purpose of Standardization
This standard GB/T5568-2022 is equivalent to ISO6803:2017, replacing the previous GB/T5568-2013. This standard mainly specifies the non-flexing hydraulic pulse test method for rubber or plastic hoses and hose assemblies under high and low pulse pressures.
The standard is applicable to hydraulic hose assemblies that need to withstand pulse pressure, with special attention to their performance under high and low pressure conditions. The test of this standard can effectively evaluate the durability and reliability of the hose in actual use.
2. Comparison table of standard frameworks
| Standard dimensions | GB/T5568-2013 | ISO6803:2017 | Main changes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scope of application | Non-flexure hydraulic pulse test for rubber or plastic hose assemblies | Same as above, new cooling test requirements | Add cooling test (see 4.1 and 8.2) |
| Test pressure | High pressure: >3MPa; Low pressure: 1.5MPa~3MPa | Same as above | No change |
| Testing device | Pressure device, chart recorder | New requirements for digital storage or oscilloscope | Add clear requirements for digital equipment |
3. Interpretation of technical points of the standard
3.1 Test device and technical requirements
The standard specifies the composition of the test device, including the pressure device and the chart recorder. The pressure device needs to be able to apply pulse pressure at a specified rate and maintain the test temperature. The chart recorder needs to have sufficient frequency response (>250Hz) and be treated with vibration reduction to ensure measurement accuracy.
3.2 Test fluid and temperature control
The test fluid is preferably hydraulic oil with a kinematic viscosity in the range of 32mm²/s~100mm²/s (ISO32~100). The test temperature is usually specified by the referenced hose standard, and the preferred temperature is 85℃, 100℃, 120℃, etc. The temperature control requirements are strict, and the tolerance does not exceed ±3℃ or ±5℃.
3.3 Sample preparation and installation
The sample should be a complete hose assembly with terminal connectors. The bending radius of the hose needs to be considered during the test. Hoses with a nominal inner diameter of 22 and below need to be bent 180°, while hoses greater than 22mm only need to be bent 90°.
4. Implementation recommendations
4.1 Precautions in the application of standards
- Strictly follow the test conditions specified in the standard, especially temperature and pressure control.
- Select appropriate test fluids and change them regularly to avoid contamination affecting the results.
- Ensure the calibration and maintenance of the test equipment, especially the frequency response characteristics of the recorder.
4.2 Standard Updates and Future Trends
As hydraulic systems develop towards high pressure and high temperature, future standards may further improve test conditions and test methods. It is recommended that companies pay attention to international standard trends in a timely manner to ensure that their products meet the latest technical requirements.
