Standard background and technology evolution analysis

GB567.3-2012 replaces the previous GB/T12353-1999 and GB/T16181-1996, and expands the applicable pressure range of bursting discs to 0.001MPa to 500MPa. New terms and definitions, flat and graphite bursting discs, and detailed regulations on the installation dimensions of the holder are added.

Implementation suggestions

In actual applications, the appropriate bursting disc type and holder should be selected according to the specific pressure requirements of the equipment. Refer to the installation dimension table in Appendix C to ensure correct installation to achieve the best safety effect.
