1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage for clutch facings for automobiles.

This standard is applicable to dry friction clutch facings for automobiles (hereinafter referred to as facings).
