Scope

This part specifies the terms and definitions, method principles, general requirements for instruments, test procedures, result processing and reporting for the determination of trace moisture in gases by optical cavity ring-down spectroscopy. This part is applicable to the determination of moisture in gases with a volume fraction of 0.2×10-9~20×10-6. It is not suitable for the determination of moisture in gases such as silane decomposed by light or containing components that interfere with the absorption spectrum of water.
