本标准代替GB/T 596-1983《船用外螺纹青铜截止止回阀》。
本标准规定了船用外螺纹青铜截止止回阀的分类和标记、要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装和贮存。
本标准适用于海水、淡水、燃油、滑油、空气和温度不高于250℃蒸汽的船舶管路系统用截止止回阀的设计、制造和验收。
本标准与GB/T 596-1983相比，主要有下列变化：
———增加了阀杆与阀盖密封面的密封要求；
———增加了试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装等内容。

Scope

This standard specifies the classification, marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and storage of marine external thread bronze stop check valves (hereinafter referred to as stop check valves). This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of stop and check valves for seawater, freshwater, fuel oil, lubricating oil, air and steam in ships with a temperature not higher than 250°C.
