《GB/T 5962-1995NIM标准仪器系统》由TC30（全国核仪器仪表标准化技术委员会）归口，TC30SC1（全国核仪器仪表标准化技术委员会通用核仪器和辐射探测器分会）执行，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了包括NIM标准仪器插件、机箱、电源在内的NIM标准仪器系统的技术规范和基本安全要求，并给出了对ECL（发射极耦合逻辑电路）前面板的相互连接和NIM/488数字总线的要求等。本标准适用于包括NIM标准仪器插件、机箱、电源、ECL在前面板的互连和NIM/488数字总线在内的NIM标准仪器系统的设计和制造。

Scope

This standard specifies the technical specifications and basic safety requirements of the NIM standard instrument system including the NIM standard instrument plug-in, chassis, power supply, and gives the interconnection of the front panel of the ECL (Emitter Coupled Logic Circuit) and the NIM/488 Digital bus requirements, etc. This standard applies to the design and manufacture of NIM standard instrument systems including NIM standard instrument plug-ins, chassis, power supply, ECL interconnection on the front panel and NIM/488 digital bus.
