Scope

This standard specifies the experimental equipment, samples, test procedures, calculations, test results and test reports for the determination of the combustion performance of fiber-reinforced plastics by the red-hot rod method. This standard is suitable for evaluating the combustion performance of fiber reinforced plastics under the conditions specified in this standard, but not for evaluating the fire hazard under actual use conditions.
