本标准规定了使用偏光成熟度仪测定棉纤维成熟度的方法。本标准适用于细绒棉、长绒棉及未经化学处理的棉纱、线松解后的纤维测试成熟系数、成熟度比、成熟纤维百分率。

Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the maturity of cotton fibers using a polarizing maturity meter. This standard is applicable to the fiber test maturity coefficient, maturity ratio, and percentage of mature fiber of fine-staple cotton, long-staple cotton, and cotton yarns and threads that have not been chemically treated.
