Scope

This standard specifies the test method for determining the internal pressure resistance of thermoplastic pipes, components and assemblies for fluid conveyance at a given temperature. This standard is applicable to internal pressure resistance tests of samples with water inside and water outside (water-water test), air (water-air test) and other liquids (water-other liquid test).
