Scope

This standard specifies the definition and symbols, materials, general requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of thermoplastic globe valves (hereinafter referred to as globe valves). This standard is applicable to manual or power-driven shut-off valves in civil hot and cold water systems, drinking water systems, heating piping systems, and piping systems that transport industrial water and other non-aqueous media under the conditions of considering the chemical resistance and heat resistance of materials . The range of nominal sizes is DN 10, DN 15, DN 20, DN 25, DN32, DN40, DN 50, DN 65, DN80, DN100, DN125 and DN 150. The nominal pressure range is PN0.6, PN1.0, PN1.6.
