Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, transportation, packaging and storage of wide-band sanders. This standard applies to wide-band sanding machines for sanding solid wood panels, wood and non-wood wood-based panels and their components, inorganic light panels and thermosetting resin decorative laminates. This standard does not apply to wide-band sanders for sanding sheet metal.
