Scope

This standard specifies the general method for the determination of dry residues of volatile organic chemical products and organic chemical reagents after evaporation on a water bath. This standard applies to volatile organic liquids whose evaporation residue is equal to or greater than 5mg/kg. If the amount of evaporation residue is less than 5mg/kg, the sampling amount can be appropriately increased.
