Scope

This standard applies to devices that generate time delay and frequency shift for the original sound signal in sound recording, broadcasting and sound reinforcement systems. The main content includes a description of the general and specific characteristics of these devices and their measurement methods. The use of other methods giving equivalent results is not excluded.
