Scope

This part of GB/T 12060 specifies the interpretation and measurement methods of artificial reverberation, time delay and special characteristics of frequency shifting devices. This section applies to devices that produce reverberation effects, time delays and frequency offsets on the original sound signal in recording, broadcasting and sound reinforcement systems. The main contents include a description of the general and specific characteristics of these devices, measurement conditions and measurement methods. Other unspecified items shall be resolved through negotiation between the producer and the user, and other methods that can give equivalent results cannot be excluded.
