本标准规定了快速而准确地评价钢或锌合金铸件上的铜-镍-铬和镍-铬电沉积层户外耐蚀性的方法。
对产品在户外使用的期限和结果,本标准未作描述和解释。

Scope

1.1 This standard specifies a method for rapidly and accurately evaluating the outdoor corrosion resistance of copper-nickel-chromium and nickel-chromium electrodeposits on steel or zinc alloy castings. This standard does not describe or explain the duration and results of outdoor use of the product. 1.2 When using this test method for other sedimentary layer systems or materials other than 1.1, the corresponding relationship between this method and its outdoor use should be verified in advance. 1.3 Under the test conditions [1] provided in this standard, the electrolysis of the nickel layer is carried out through the discontinuous area of the chromium layer (the chromium layer is not etched). The rate of the electrolytic corrosion test is that the corrosion degree of electrolysis for 2 minutes is equivalent to the degree of [2] [3] of one year of use. When the area of the exposed nickel layer increases rapidly (such as the surface of the sample in the high-density chromium discontinuity area), the rate of the EC test will exceed the corresponding test rate of outdoor corrosion. In order to ensure the same corrosion rate, when the sample surface When the predetermined current density is reached, the constant potential control should be changed to constant current control.
