《GB/T 6477.6-1986金属切削机床术语磨床》由TC22（全国金属切削机床标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国机械工业联合会。
磨床系指用磨具或磨料加工工件各种表面的机床。通常，磨具旋转为主运动，工件或磨具的移动为进给运动。本标准规定了磨床特有的机床名称、参数，零部件和加工方法的术语及其含义。与磨床有关的术语应符合GB 6477.1―86《金属切削机床术语基本术语》和本标准的规定。

Scope

This standard specifies the terminology and meanings of machine tool names, parameters, parts and processing methods specific to grinding machines.
