《GB/T 6505-2008化学纤维长丝热收缩率试验方法》由608（中国纺织工业联合会）归口，主管部门为中国纺织工业联合会。
本标准规定了聚酯(涤纶)、聚酰胺(锦纶)、聚丙烯(丙纶)、纤维素纤维等化学纤维长丝沸水收缩率和干热空气收缩率的试验方法---绞丝法和单根法。绞丝法提供了手工测量法和仪器测量法两种形式,有争议时采用手工测量法,该法不适用时由相关方商定相应的试验方法。
本标准适用于线密度小于3000dtex的化学纤维长丝。
本标准不适用于预取向丝。

This standard specifies the testing method of boiling water shrinkage and heated dry air shrinkage for man-made filament yarn like polyester (polyester fiber), polyamide (chinlon), polypropylene (polypropylene fiber) and cellulose fiber: skein method and single method. Manual
measurement method and instrument measurement method are provided in skein method and where there is a disagreement, manual measurement method is adopted and if this method is not applicable, the appropriate testing method shall be determined through the consultation among
relevant parties.
This standard is applicable to the man-made filament yarn with linear density less than 3000dtex.
This standard is not applicable to pre-oriented yarn.
