1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol spectrophotometric method

Steps Detailed description
Sample decomposition The sample is decomposed with hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid, filtered; the residue is melted with alkali.
Separation steps Add sodium fluoride, ammonium chloride, ammonium hydroxide and sodium diethyldithiocarbamate (copper reagent) for precipitation and separation. Use methyl isobutyl ketone-ammonium thioxoate to extract zinc and separate it from a large amount of iron, copper and other elements.
Color development and measurement 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN) was added to the organic phase to generate a red complex, and the absorbance was measured at 548 nm.
