Introduction and Standard Background
GB/T 6730.7-2016 "Determination of Metallic Iron Content in Iron Ore - Sulfosalicylic Acid Spectrophotometric Method" is the national standard of the People's Republic of China, used to determine the metallic iron content in iron ore, iron concentrate, sintered ore and pelletized ore. This standard replaces GB/T 6730.7-1986 and optimizes and improves the determination method.

- Reagent preparation:Prepare sodium chloramine-salicylate solution and sulfosalicylic acid solution in strict accordance with the standard to avoid concentration deviation.
- Calibration curve drawing:It is recommended to calibrate at least once a month to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Waste liquid treatment:Refer to Appendix B and use chromium removal equipment to treat waste liquid to avoid environmental pollution.
