3. Technical requirements and operating steps
Flame atomic absorption spectrometer is the core instrument of this determination method and must meet the performance requirements of GB/T 7728. The analysis steps include sample decomposition, residue treatment, test solution preparation and absorbance measurement.
- Sample decomposition: Dissolve the sample with hydrochloric acid and nitric acid and evaporate to dryness at high temperature.
- Residue treatment: Use a platinum crucible to burn in a high-temperature furnace until it is completely melted.
- Test solution preparation: Add a release agent (lanthanum chloride or strontium chloride) and dilute.
- Absorbance measurement: Measure the absorbance of magnesium at a wavelength of 285.2 nm and draw a calibration curve to calculate the content.
