本标准规定了测定生橡胶中水分和其他挥发性物质含量的两种方法:热辊法和烘箱法。这两种方法适用于测定列入GB/T 5576的R类像胶的挥发分含量。也可用于测定其他橡胶,但是在这些情况下,必须验证质量的改变只是挥发物损失而不是橡胶降解所致。


Scope

This standard specifies two methods for the determination of moisture and other volatile substances in raw rubber: hot roll method and oven method. These two methods are suitable for determining the volatile content of R1) rubber listed in GB/T5576. It can also be used to determine other rubbers, but in these cases it must be verified that the change in mass is due to the loss of volatiles rather than degradation of the rubber. The hot roll method is not suitable for natural rubber and synthetic isoprene rubber or rubber that is too difficult to handle on hot rolls, nor is it suitable for powdered or chipped rubber.
