Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of zinc powder. This standard applies to metallic zinc powder produced by distillation, atomization, and electrothermal reduction methods using metallic zinc or zinc-containing materials as raw materials. Mainly used in coatings, dyes, metallurgy, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
