《GB/T 6968-1997膜式煤气表》由TC124（全国工业过程测量控制和自动化标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国机械工业联合会。
本标准规定了膜式煤气表的术语、流量范围、结构、最大允许误差、密封性、压力损失、耐久性和检验规则等。本标准适用于采用具有柔性薄壁测量室测量气体流量的容积式煤气表――模式煤气表。
Scope
This standard specifies the terminology, flow range, structure, maximum allowable error, sealing, pressure loss, durability and inspection rules of membrane gas meters. This standard applies to volumetric gas meters with flexible thin-walled measuring chambers for measuring gas flow—membrane gas meters (hereinafter referred to as gas meters).
