Key technical innovations

Electromagnetic compatibility upgrade

The 2016 version adds emission limit requirements for electronic circuit components (5.18.2.2). Conducted emissions must comply with Table 22 of GB/T 3783-2008, and radiated emission limits are implemented according to Table 23. The immunity test adopts the three-level performance criterion (GB/T 3783 Figure 2).

Structural safety enhancement

Protective equipment must meet the following requirements:
1. Main busbar segmentation requirements (5.6.2)
2. Mechanical interlocking of removable components (5.13.2)
3. Grounding resistance ≤0.1Ω (5.10.3.3)


Implementation suggestions

  1. Material selection: Copper-clad aluminum alloy busbar is preferred (5.4.1), and the insulation material must pass the 2b level mold test
  2. Test verification: Type testing must include a combined test of salt spray 48h + 2 cycles of alternating damp heat (6.13-6.15)
  3. Installation Specifications: When installing tubular resistors horizontally, devices above 50W must maintain a lateral spacing of ≥100mm (Appendix B)
