《GB/T 7164-2022用于核反应堆的辐射探测器特性及测试方法》由TC30(全国核仪器仪表标准化技术委员会)归口,TC30SC2(全国核仪器仪表标准化技术委员会反应堆仪表分会)执行,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
GB/T7164-2022, as an important standard in the field of nuclear safety, mainly strengthens the test requirements for neutron proportional counter tubes and fission ionization chambers after replacing the 2004 version. The standard adds 8 key technical changes, including test equipment specifications, gamma compensation characteristic testing and other innovative contents.
Detector Key Characteristics Comparison
| Characteristic Category | Pulse Detector | Current Ionization Chamber | Test Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Operating Voltage | 500-2000V | 100-500V | Plateau Measurement Method |
| Sensitivity Index | Count Rate/(n·cm-2·s-1) | A/(n·cm-2·s-1) | Neutron activation method/comparison method |
| Linear upper limit | 105s-1 | 10-6A | Equal periodic rise method |
Key points of nuclear characteristic test technology
1. Ping characteristic test
Standard 6.3.2.1 stipulates: for BF3 counter tube needs to calculate the plateau slope at 1.1 times the noise threshold voltage through the formula Pm=100×(2(Nm,2-Nm,1))/((Nm,2+Nm,1)(Um,2-Um,1)), and the requirement is ≤5%/100V.
2. Neutron sensitivity test
Three methods are provided: neutron activation method (Formula 6), standard detector comparison method (Formula 7), and calibration device method (Formula 8), in which the activation plate layout needs to cover both ends and the middle of the sensitive area.
New requirements for environmental testing
- Electromagnetic compatibility test: Reference GB/T17626 series standards and add power frequency magnetic field immunity test
- Water test: Distinguish between water tank method (GB/T2423.38 Rc1) and pressurized water tank method (Rc2)
- Equipment identification: Perform LOCA working condition simulation according to GB/T12727-2017
Implementation suggestions
1. When testing the mobile micro fission chamber, special attention should be paid to the upper limit test of the allowable neutron injection rate in clause 6.3.2.8. It is recommended to use the platform method to avoid the impact of the reactor cycle
2. For γ-compensated ionization chambers, the compensation voltage Ubest required by clause 6.3.3.4 should reduce the output current by ≥2 orders of magnitude
3. Appendix A of the standard specifies that connectors must provide radiation resistance performance certification, and suppliers should be required to provide material activation analysis reports when purchasing
