Scope

A blank detail specification is a supplementary document to a sectional specification and includes the format, layout and minimum content requirements of the detail specification. A detail specification that does not comply with these requirements cannot be considered a standard that complies with the requirements of the IEC, nor can it be called an IEC standard.
