Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of lens center deviation, selection and marking of reference axis, marking and inspection of center deviation. This standard applies to singlets and doublets consisting of spheres and spheres or spheres and planes with rotationally symmetrical edges. It is also basically applicable to lenses with other edge shapes (for example: rectangular lenses).
