本标准规定了高活度钴60密封放射源的结构、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、检验证书和使用说明书、包装、运输和贮存等内容。
本标准适用于放射性活度(以下简称活度)大于10TBq的远距离治疗用钴60γ源、工业辐照用钴60γ源,也适用于γ刀治疗用钴60γ源、探伤用钴60γ源以及其他用途的活度大于10TBq的钴60γ源。

1. Background of standard formulation and analysis of technological evolution

GB/T6699-2015 is the national standard of the People's Republic of China, applicable to coking naphthalene made from naphthalene fraction extracted from coal tar through washing, distillation or crystallization. This standard replaces the old version of the standard GB/T6699-1998, and the main technical updates include:

  • Added preface, normative references and safety precautions;
  • Modified the scope of application and deleted the term "fractionation high temperature";
  • Added naphthalene content indicators and introduced chromatographic analysis methods.

3. Interpretation of the main contents of the standard

3.1 Scope and normative references:This standard applies to naphthalene fractions extracted from coal tar, and specifies technical requirements, test methods and safety precautions. The main referenced documents include: GB/T1999 (sampling of coking oil products), GB/T2000 (sampling of solid products), etc.

3.2 Technical requirements: Coking naphthalene is divided into refined naphthalene and industrial naphthalene, and the indicators include:

  • Appearance: White or slightly yellow crystals;
  • Naphthalene content: ≥95% (mass fraction);
  • Crystallization point: ≥75℃ (superior grade).

4. Implementation suggestions and practical applications

Case analysis: During the production process, a coking plant used gas chromatography (Appendix A) to detect the naphthalene content. By accurately controlling the crystallization point and ash content indicators, the product quality was successfully improved to meet the superior standard.
