Parameter series of steam turbines for power plant

1 Scope

This standard specifies the term and definition of steam turbine for power plant, the parameter series of initial steam and the allowable fluctuation range of inlet steam parameters in operation.

This standard is applicable to fixed power generation (condensing type) or CHP (back pressure, extraction back pressure, extraction condensing type) steam turbines with rated power level from 0.75MW to 1000MW or higher and initial steam pressure from 1.28MPa to 31MPa or higher. This standard is not applicable to nuclear turbines and steam-gas combined cycle steam turbines.

2 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this standard, the following terms apply.

2.1
initial steam pressure
rated pressure of initial steam at the inlet of main steam valve of steam turbine, MPa

Note: All steam pressure units refer to absolute pressure unless otherwise instructed.

2.2
initial steam temperature
rated temperature of initial steam at the inlet of main steam valve of steam turbine, °C

2.3
initial steam flow
mass flow of initial steam flowing from the inlet of main steam valve and regulating valve of steam turbine, t/h

2.4
reheat temperature
rated temperature of reheat steam at the inlet of reheat main steam valve (or reheat main steam and regulating combined valve) of reheat steam turbine, °C

2.5
heating pressure
rated heating steam pressure at the steam exhaust port of back-pressure steam turbine or the extraction interface of regulated extraction steam turbine or at the outlet of pressure regulating valve of non-regulated extraction steam turbine installed on heating extraction pipe, MPa
