Scope

This standard specifies the equipment, measurement preparation, measurement steps and treatment of measurement results required for the measurement of protection time of coal-based granular activated carbon under specified conditions. This standard applies to the determination of the protection time of coal-based granular activated carbon, and also applies to the determination of the protection time of other granular activated carbons and impregnated activated carbons.
