《GB/T 7778-2008制冷剂编号方法和安全性分类》由TC238（全国冷冻空调设备标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国机械工业联合会。
本标准自实施之日起代替GB/T 7778-2001。
本标准规定了制冷剂的编号表示方法，以代替化学名称、分子式或商品名称。使用本标准规定的制冷剂编号表示方法时，并不排除化学名称和分子式的使用。
本标准还按制冷剂的毒性危害和燃烧性危险程度规定其安全性分类，并按制冷剂的臭氧层消耗潜值、全球变暖潜值等环保指标评估其环境友好性。
本标准适用于制冷空调设备及装置使用的制冷剂。
本标准修订GB/T 7778-2001《制冷剂编号方法和安全性分类》，与GB/T 7778-2001 相比主要变化如下：
――增加了制冷剂数量；
――安全分类的方法中增加急性毒性的指标；
――采用综合评估方法来评估制冷剂对环境影响；
――本标准附录B给出了旧、新标准安全性分类对照表。

Scope

This standard specifies the numbering method of refrigerants to replace chemical names, molecular formulas or trade names. When using the refrigerant numbering method stipulated in this standard, the use of chemical names and molecular formulas is not excluded. This standard also stipulates the safety classification of refrigerants according to their toxic hazards and flammability hazards, and evaluates their environmental friendliness according to environmental indicators such as ozone layer depletion potential and global warming potential of refrigerants. This standard applies to refrigerants used in refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment and devices.
