Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the lead content in gasoline by atomic absorption spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of the total lead content in gasoline with a mass concentration range of 2.5 mg/L to 25 mg/L. The determination results are not affected by differences in gasoline composition and different types of alkyl lead compounds.
