Scope
This standard specifies the counting sequential sampling inspection scheme and procedure for discrete individuals. The schemes in the main body of this standard are indexed by producer risk points and user risk points. As a supplement to the sampling plan system of GB/T 2828 (IS0 2859-1), appendix A stipulates the counting sequential sampling inspection plan and procedure indexed by the acceptable quality level (AQL). T The purpose of this standard is to provide a sequential assessment procedure for inspection results, the use of which will induce the manufacturer to provide lots with a high probability of acceptance quality through the economic and psychological pressure on the producer to reject inferior lots. At the same time, an upper limit is set for the probability of receiving inferior batches, so that the user is also protected. The sampling plan specified in this standard can be used but not limited to the following different inspection occasions, for example: - final products; - components and raw materials; - operations; - work in progress; - inventory materials; - maintenance operations; - data or records; - management procedures. The sampling plan of this standard can be used when the degree of nonconformity is expressed by the rate of nonconforming products (or percentage of nonconforming products) or the number of unqualified products per unit (or the number of unqualified products per hundred units). The sampling inspection plan is based on the assumption that nonconforming products occur randomly and are statistically independent. There may be good reason to suspect that a failure of a sample is due to conditions that may have caused other failures at the same time. If so, it is better to consider the sample as a conforming or rejecting product and ignore multiple failures. Condition. The scheme in Appendix A is mainly applicable to the inspection of continuous series of batches on the same production line. The scheme in the main body of this standard can also be used to inspect isolated batches.
