Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of refrigerator-freezers. This standard applies to enclosed motor-driven compression-type household refrigerator-freezers (hereinafter referred to as refrigerator-freezers) below 500L. This standard does not apply to special-purpose refrigerator-freezers.
