Scope
This standard specifies the general technical requirements, inspection methods and acceptance rules for arc welding machines. This standard applies to arc welding machines powered by voltages not exceeding those specified in Table 1 in GB/T 156 or driven by mechanical equipment designed for industrial and professional purposes. This standard does not apply to manual arc welding power sources with limit loads for non-professionals. If there are special requirements for various types of welding machines, this standard can be supplemented on the basis of this standard.
