Scope
This standard is applicable to thread gauges used for testing GB 5796-86 "Trapezoidal Thread". According to the performance, it is divided into working thread gauge and proofreading thread gauge. Working thread gauge: refers to the thread gauge used by the operator in the process of manufacturing workpiece threads. Calibration thread gauge: refers to the thread gauge used in the manufacture of working thread gauges and the inspection of working thread gauges in use.
