1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, sampling, test methods and inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage of dewaxed shellac, decolorized shellac, and decolorized and dewaxed shellac.

This standard is applicable to the shellacs dewaxed by solvent method and decolorized by activated carbon.
