《GB/T 8297-2008浓缩天然胶乳 氢氧化钾（KOH）值的测定》由TC35（全国橡胶与橡胶制品标准化技术委员会）归口，TC35SC8（全国橡胶与橡胶制品标准化技术委员会天然橡胶分会）执行，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准于１９８７年７月首次发布，２００１年第一次修订。本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ８２９７―２００１《浓缩天然胶乳　氢氧化钾（ＫＯＨ）值的测定》。本标准规定了完全或部分用氨保存的浓缩天然胶乳的氢氧化钾（KOH）值测定方法。本标准适用于含硼酸的胶乳。本标准不适用于用氢氧化钾保存的胶乳，也不适用于巴西橡胶树胶乳以外的天然胶乳、配合胶乳、硫化胶乳和乳化胶乳。

Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of potassium hydroxide (KOH) value of concentrated natural rubber latex preserved entirely or partially in ammonia. This standard applies to latex containing boric acid. This standard does not apply to latex preserved with potassium hydroxide, nor to natural latex, compound latex, vulcanized latex and emulsified latex other than Hevea brasiliensis latex.
