Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, marking, labeling and packaging of copper-tungsten and silver-tungsten electrical contacts. This standard applies to copper-tungsten and silver-tungsten electrical contacts produced by powder pressing, sintering and infiltration processes. These products are mainly used in high and low voltage electrical products.
