《GB/T 9442-1998铸造用硅砂》由TC54（全国铸造标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了铸造用硅砂的牌号、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装和运输等。本标准适用于铸造生产中造型、制芯用硅砂，包括人工硅砂及水洗砂、擦洗砂、精选砂等天然硅砂。

Scope

This standard specifies the grades, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and transportation of silica sand for foundry. This standard is applicable to silica sand used for molding and core making in foundry production, including artificial silica sand and natural silica sand such as washed sand, scrubbed sand, and selected sand.
