本标准参照CIE 121-1996《灯具光度学和分布光度学》。
本标准规定了光度测试的标准条件，并推荐了测试程序，同时为光度实验室的试验和灯具性能数据的表达提供指导。对于实际测试条件不同于标准测试条件的灯具，标准给出了修正系数的测量要求。
本标准适用于大部分类型灯具的光度测试。为极其专业的设施设计的特殊灯具类型，对测量和数据表达有特殊需求时，本标准不能覆盖其特性，应使用补充标准。这些补充标准在本标准适当章条内引用，并在必要时定义特殊要求和测量条件。
本标准代替GB/T 9467-1988《室内灯具光度测试》和GB/T 9468-1988《道路照明灯具光度测试》，本标准与GB/T 9467-1988和GB/T 9468-1988的主要差异如下：
——增加了使用积分光计的光通量测量方法（本版中的5.3.3）;
——增加了亮度测量方法（本版5.5）；
——增加了照度的测量方法（本版5.6）；
——增加了不确定度评价（本版6.2）；
——在灯具光度学坐标系统一章中增加了A、B、C平面系统的示意图（本版中的图A.1~图A.3）；
——增加了A、B和C平面系统的相互关系（本标准的A.4.4）；
——增加了关于单端紧凑型荧光灯提出光度试验前的老练和稳定的方法和要求（本版中的C.1.3.2.4）；
——引入了服务转换系数的概念（本版中的D.3）。

Scope

This standard specifies the standard conditions for photometric testing, recommends testing procedures, and provides guidance for photometric laboratory tests and the expression of luminaire performance data. For lamps whose actual test conditions are different from the standard test conditions, the standard gives the measurement requirements for the correction coefficient. This standard applies to photometric testing of most types of luminaires. Special luminaire types designed for extremely specialized installations, with special needs for measurement and data presentation, whose characteristics cannot be covered by this standard, supplementary standards should be used. These supplementary standards are referenced in the appropriate clauses of this standard and, where necessary, define special requirements and measurement conditions.
