Specifications for retaining rings - Circlips

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 959 specifies the technical specifications for retaining rings for bores and shafts and for "E" rings.

This part is applicable to the retaining rings for bores and shafts and for "E" rings specified by national standards, as well as to other standard and non-standard retaining rings.

3 Materials

The material and heat treatment hardness of the retaining rings shall be determined by the manufacturer and shall comply with the those specified in Tables 1 and 2.
