Scope

Part 1 of GB/T 9711 specifies the basic quality and test requirements (Class A) for non-alloy steel and alloy steel (excluding stainless steel) used in the oil and gas industry for conveying flammable and non-combustible fluids (including water) Technical delivery conditions for seamed steel pipes and welded steel pipes. This standard covers threaded and extra heavyweight threaded steel pipes; unthreaded, extra light heavyweight unthreaded, regular heavyweight unthreaded, extra heavyweight (XS) unthreaded and extra heavyweight (XXS) unthreaded steel pipes ; and socket and socket steel pipes. The dimensional requirements, measurement method regulations, technical requirements and verification of gauges, instruments and methods for thread inspection and thread gauges are given in GB/T 9253.4, GB/T 9253.7 and SY/T 5994, and are applicable to this standard. The product. Grades covered by this standard are L175, L210, L245, L290, L320, L360, L390, L415, L450, L485 and L555 and intermediate grades between L290 and higher grades listed in Table 2. For ordinary heavy unthreaded and extra light heavy unthreaded steel pipes shown in Table 9A and Table 9B, as well as threaded steel pipes with a nominal size greater than 12 (see Table 6), the dimensions used are marked as the outer diameter. For other steel pipes, the size is marked as the nominal size of the steel pipe. In each chapter of the text of this standard, except for the dimension limit line (or size range) of steel pipes, except for the nominal size, it refers to the outer diameter size. These outside diameter extension lines and ranges also apply to the corresponding nominal dimensions (see 7.6). Note 1: Please pay attention to the definition of seamless steel pipe in 3.2.2.1.
