Scope

This standard specifies the test, equipment, instruments and test procedures for tire valve sealing performance, elastomer hardness, assembly performance, rubber ozone resistance and rubber-to-metal adhesion strength. This standard applies to the performance test of tire valves. This standard does not apply to the performance test of aviation tire valves.
