Scope
This standard specifies the geometrical, optical, transmission characteristics, mechanical and environmental performance requirements of category B1.1 non-dispersion-shifted single-mode fiber in GB/T 15972.1. The zero dispersion wavelength of this type of fiber is around 1310nm, it can be used in either the 1310nm wavelength region or the 1550nm wavelength region, and the best working wavelength is in the 1310nm region. The single-mode fiber specified in this standard is suitable for communication networks and other communication equipment.
