本标准规定了B1.3类波长段扩展的非色散位移单模光纤的几何、光学、传输特性和机械、环境性能的要求。该类光纤的零色散波长在1 310nm附近,它除了可以使用在1 310和1 550nm波长区域外,还扩展到了1 360nm到1 530nm,最佳工作波长在1 310nm区域。本标准规定的单模光纤适用于通信网和其他通信设备。
Scope
This standard specifies the geometric, optical, transmission characteristics, mechanical and environmental performance requirements of the non-dispersion-shifted single-mode optical fiber with extended wavelength range of category B1.3. The zero-dispersion wavelength of this type of fiber is around 1310nm. In addition to being used in the 1310nm and 1550nm wavelength regions, it also extends to 1360nm to 1530nm, and the best working wavelength is in the 1310nm region. The single-mode fiber specified in this standard is suitable for communication networks and other communication equipment.
