Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of microcomputers (hereinafter referred to as microcomputers). This standard applies to the design and manufacture of microcomputers (including desktop microcomputers, portable microcomputers, PC-workstations and PC-servers). This standard is the basis for formulating product standards.
