Scope

This standard specifies the 37-pin connector and contact number assignment at the interface between data terminal equipment (DTE) and data circuit terminating equipment (DCE). This interface is suitable for GB/T 3454, GB/T 7618 And GB/T 7619 equipment. This standard additionally provides the dimensions of connector housings and recommends means of providing locking devices (locking parts) and connector shields.
