Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of metal neodymium products. This standard applies to metal neodymium produced by molten salt electrolysis using neodymium oxide as raw material. This product is mainly used as a raw material for permanent magnet materials such as NdFeB.
